Lasagna Soup

Everything that you love in a oven baked lasagna but in soup form. The tomato, pasta, Italian meat and cheese. This might even be better. I've been making this soup for my family for years and they love it, they request it once September rolls around and make it at least twice a month during Autumn and Winter. Even my niece and nephews loves this soup. I make this in the slow cooker because I can throw in all the ingredients, turn it on and go on with my day.  __________________________________________________________________________________________ Lasagna Soup Tools Slow Cooker or Large Pot Slow Cooker Liners Time Prep: 10 Minutes Cooking: 6 to 7 hours Ingredients   1 lb Ground Italian Seasoned Turkey Meat or Italian Sausage or Vegetarian Crumble 4 cups Tomato Sauce 3 cups Lower Sodium Chicken Broth 1 tablespoon + 1 1/2 teaspoons Granulated Garlic 1 tablespoon + 1 1/2 teaspoons Granulated Onion 3 Whole Bay L

Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter

Pumpkin goodness, caramelized in a slow cooker and smooth like butter. Pumpkin Spice season is well underway and we still have a two months of it and I love it.  Every time I go to the store I find isles of pumpkin spice everything like coffee, cookies, yoghurt, ice cream, coffee creamer, even gum.  But I haven't seen Pumpkin Butter, I only seen it at a country store. If you live in the south you may know what I'm talking about. I'm going use this Pumpkin Butter for many recipes in the up coming months, so keep an eye out for them. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter Tools Slow Cooker Slow Cooker Liners Mason Jars or Airtight Containers Time Prep: 5 minutes Cooking: 5 to 6 hours Note: This is a doubled recipes, can be halved easily. Maple Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tarts

All the goodness of cinnamon, brown sugar and maple syrup together in one pastry that you can heat up, eat with you coffee and you are ready to take on the day. Growing up, brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts were my favorite thing eat for breakfast and sometimes just for a snack. It was one of the only sugary things that I was allow to eat for breakfast since my mom wouldn't get sugary cereals for my sister and I and my teeth thank her for it. When I got older I discovered an organic brand of these pop tarts the only thing that was different was that they had a maple glaze, lets just say I feel in love with them but they are kind of hard to come by.  So I decided to make my own. Giving them a twist by adding graham crackers to the crust.  This recipe kept it in a slap before baking, saves time. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Maple Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tarts

Pumpkin Spice Syrup

BRACE YOURSELVES.  PUMPKIN SPICE SEASON IS HERE!!!! Eating or drink anything with the blend of cinnamon, clove, all spice, nutmeg, and ginger always get me into the Autumn or Halloween spirit.  I was so ready for it I made my own Pumpkin Spice Extract , you should go check it out. Keep a look out for all the yummy Pumpkin Spice baked goods I'll be making the next two months. Did you know that Pumpkin Spice has been around since the 1890's? Who knew that our great-great grandparents were the inventors of our Pumpkin Spice obsession. Use this syrup in your coffee, hot chocolate, pancakes, waffles, biscuits, and scones.  Anything that you would want syrup on it you can use this. Add to some half and half or almondmilk to make creamer. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Pumpkin Spice Syrup Tools Medium to Large Sauce Pan Glass or Plastic Container with a li

Honey Butter Bread

What is better than honey and butter together? Very few things are better than honey and butter, maybe peanut butter and chocolate, pizza and beer, macaroni and cheese. List goes on and on. You have seen my love of carbs in previous post but my real love is fresh hot bread. The yeasty taste just makes me happy dance.   Most of the time store bought bread falls flat in the flavor department. They maybe have honey wheat bread, potato bread, raisin bread and lately I've seen Hawaiian bread that you can buy in a loaf style. But nothing comes with flavor that make me say WOW. These bread will do it. This recipe is like a sourdough starter a Poolish but doesn't take as much time to make but you still get the flavor of it giving it a slight tang to it and the honey give it a slight sweetness. Peanut Butter Brownie Cookies

Peanut plus chocolate is always a great combo together if you ask me. The slight saltiness of the peanut butter complement the creamy sweet chocolate. I have seen a lot of food companies in the last couple of months coming out with peanut butter and chocolate foods like coffee creamer and a doughnut chain coming out with a doughnut with a chocolate glaze and peanut butter drizzle. You would think that they would come out maybe around Halloween time, it is just around the corner I need to find a countdown, because the colors look like black and orange. These cookies are chocolaty and fudgy like a brownie with slightly saltiness of peanut butter. Yum! I tried a new-ish product for this recipe, peanut butter powder, for the drizzle. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Peanut Butter Brownie Cookies Tools: 2 to 3 Cookie Sheets Parchment Paper Ice Cream Scoop or 2 spoons Time:
